Baby Belle Bottoms: OsoCozy Organic Birdseye Flat Diapers Review & Giveaway

Review:  We were blessed to receive a dozen OsoCozy Organic Flats to review during the Flats & Handwashing Challenge hosted by Dirty Diaper Laundry.

These flat diapers are made of 100% organic birdseye weave cotton and are 29x27 inches before they are prepped. After a few initial hot washes our flats measured approximately 26 inches square.

This size is a little smaller than the other flats in our stash although they work perfectly for Eliya (16 months, approx. 22 lbs). However, these flats might be outgrown before potty training with larger babies and toddlers.

Because the rise fits Eliya perfectly I choose to use diaper pins with these flats instead of a Snappi. I found that without the extra rise fold down the Snappi would occasionally rub against her skin causing some slight irritation.

Due to the slightly smaller size I imagine these flats would be even more trim than other flats on newborns and small babies. I can't wait to use these OsoCozy flats when we welcome Baby #4 towards the end of this summer!

I love that these flats are handmade from organic cotton by stay at home moms in the USA and I love how soft they feel. Not that it matters as far as function, but I also love the adorable OsoCozy tag sewn onto a corner of each flat.

Some general flats information:

We have been using these flats for a couple of weeks now. I love how trim they fit. Now that Eliya is trying to walk more these flats offer the perfect absorption without being bulky between her legs. 

I also love how easy they are to wash. There is definitely no guess as to whether they are clean or not. With only one layer to worry about they are a breeze to get clean, even when hand washing in the tub as I've been doing.

I also love that on a sunny day they dry outside in a matter of a few hours. These make them a great choice for traveling or for families who do not own a dryer.
