Blessings in a Pyrex Dish

We've been so blessed by our local church body since the birth of our son Jonathan. I don't think I've cooked a single dinner since returning home. Oh, we've boiled some pasta here and there and we've done lots of reheating, but we've really been totally spoiled. It's so fun to be surprised at dinnertime & it's amazing how much better food tastes when you haven't had to make it yourself. We'll still be eating out of the fridge and freezer for a few days, but I'll be back to planning meals next week.

Check out Kristin's thoughts on meals after a baby and find lots of great meal plans at Organizing Junkie.

  1. Well, that is wonderful that your friends help out that way. My kids have Bible study groups that do that also. I think it is wonderful. Gives you more time to bond and make the transaction with a new baby. :)

    God bless!

  2. It really is a blessing not to have to cook after having a baby. It's not that I don't like to cook, but not having to think about it while adjusting to a new little one is great!
