Introduction: Inspired by Finn sells Baltic amber and hazelwood jewelry. We discovered them about 6 months ago when we were in search of a nature teething remedy for Jonathan (then 19 months old).

Baltic amber is worn on the skin so the skin’s warmth can releases trace amounts of healing oils from the amber. These oils contain succinic acid and are absorbed into the skin. This Succinic acid is a mild pain reliever and when worn near the area of discomfort can have pain relieving affects.

Review: We have used an Inspired by Finn's Baltic Amber Teething necklace before when Jonathan's teething pain was at it's worst. We were so impressed with the results that we decided Eliya needed her own teething necklace.

This time we chose a round bead necklace in Butter. All of Inspired by Finn's necklaces come in a small box perfect for gift giving. However, with Eliya's teething in full swing I'm glad this was a gift for us!

As with Jonathan's necklace we decided we wanted the highest level of succinic acid, so we chose a necklace that is light colored and opaque.

All of Inspired by Finn's jewelry is lead-free and phthalates-free and it meets all US legislative testing (CPSIA) requirements for children's jewelry. The necklace has an easy to use, secure closure. Each bead is individually knotted and the necklace will break if pulled (we didn't try this), which is good for safety's sake.
