Review: Thirsties Baby sent us a Size 2 Thirsties Duo Wrap Snap in Mango & Stay Dry Duo Insert to review.

We absolutely love this adjustable diaper cover from Thirsties. The Duo Wrap comes in two sizes 6-18 pounds and 18-40 pounds, which makes it an economical choice for cloth diapering from the newborn phase through potty training without added bulk. The Size 2 fits both Jonathan (2 yrs, 25 lbs.) and Eliya (8 months, 18 lbs.) wonderfully. The cover is adjustable through a three setting snap down rise and closes with two snaps on each wing for a secure fit. Even Jonathan our little diaper escape artist has trouble getting through both snaps. Leg gussets also help to hold in even the messiest mess.

This is our first experience with the Thirsties Stay Dry Duo Insert. This insert is two layers of fast absorbing microfiber terry, topped with stay-dry and stain-resistant microfleece. This piece snaps easily to the second part of the insert, 5 layers of super soft hemp jersey.

This insert is easy to use and clean. Because the insert is actually two parts snapped together it is also quick to dry. I love that it is fleece-topped to protect from wetness. I also like that the second layer in hemp. Oh, I love hemp.

Thirsties Baby recommend 20 to 24 diaper in a rotation for newborns if you are washing every other day. If you are using a prefold, fitted or insert with the Duo Wrap, they recommend that you have one Duo Wrap for every 3-4 diapers in the rotation. This equals out to about 6 to 7 Duo Wraps. If you have an older child, you may find that you only need 12 to 16 diapers in rotation, so you would need 4 to 5 Duo Wraps.
