ReplyDeleteReally? Homemade cream cheese? How did it taste? Since I think cream cheese makes almost anything taste better, this is a handy recipe to have.
ReplyDeleteKristen,
ReplyDeleteIt was a little different than store bought cream cheese. I found that the flavor was more sour than say Philadelphia Cream Cheese, however I also used Low Fat Yogurt so I'm not sure if that was the reason.
I think in a recipe where it takes on other flavors the homemade would work fine (although you'd want to stick with whole yogurt).
I do like knowing that I can make organic cream cheese since I'm not able to buy it locally (way out of our budget), but the organic plain yogurt is much more reasonably priced.
Oh my word, that onesie is the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including me in your list. :)
Could you send me a Pinterest invitation to katislittlecorner@gmail.com please? Thanks!
