One Pure and Holy Passion

I'd like to share a song with you that I recently restumbled upon. When I first heard this song many years ago it had a big impact on me. However, through the years I forgot about it. Recently, this song popped into my mind as I was up in the middle of the night trying to get Jonathan back to sleep and, to tell the truth, feeling pretty sorry for myself.

I believe God brought this song to mind to help me remember that everything I do in my life should be done in order to please him. My actions should be pleasing sights and the attitute of my heart should be a sweet aroma to him. Needless to say, my attitude at the time was definitly not a beautiful sight or pleasing aroma. In fact it pretty much stunk!

This has become my new theme song. It helps me remember where my passion should lie and having that in the forefront of my mind is helping to convict me when I fall short. I still have a lot to learn about following hard after God and thankfully God isn't finished with me yet. I pray that this song will also be a blessing and encouragement to you today.
