Modern design for kids with a Scandinavian flair perfectly describes Connie's Etsy shop, Scandeez. This shop is a treasure chest of beautiful and unique items for babies and children.

Connie has been crafting since she was a little girl. Her mother actually taught her to knit, crochet, and embroider when Connie was only 4 years old! Connie also loves color and using natural fibers and fabrics.

I was first drawn to Scandeez by Connie's adorable leather baby moccasins. I was absolutely delighted when Connie agreed to have her baby moks featured on A Heart for Home.

Because all of Scandeez's baby moks are absolutely beautiful, I asked Connie to just surprise us with a gender neutral pair of moks for Jonathan. Needless to say, I was excited to open the package when it arrived. We definitely were not disappointed.

Inside the professional quality packaging were an adorable pair of gray leather elephant moks. The first thing I did was smell the little slippers. Oh, the smell of genuine leather.

These moks are made from super soft leather. They have an elasticized top for a comfy fit and to make it more difficult for babies to kick them off. In fact, it took Jonathan quite a while to figure out how to take these off by himself.

Jonathan likes his new moks and I've even caught Emahry trying to squeeze into them on quite a few occassions. She likes to call them Jonathan's elephant shoes. The leather soles make them great for babies and toddlers developing feet and give a good amount of grip when walking on slippery floors. The detailed stitching of the sole design makes these a truely unique and eye catching addition to any outfit.

Scandeez's leather moks are available in a wide variety of colors and designs and come in sizes newborn to 24 months.
