Endless Gifts

Daily I'm surrounded by wonderful gifts from God, yet many times I choose to see the disappointments instead of the blessings.

Today I choose to be a cheerful recipient, a joy finder, a gift counter.

#69. Unsolicited "thank yous" from our children.

#70. A crock pot full of Creamy White Bean & Apple Chili.

#71. Stacks of freshly washed prefold diapers.

#72. Waking up to clean kitchen counters.

#73. Knowing my job matters.

#74. Little ones who are beginning to "sleep in" until 6:30.

#75. A husband who loves the Lord and strives to follow him everyday.

#76. Eliya's new bunny hat from Tara at Lefty Loops. {you could win your own here}

#77. Community.

#78. A "new" washer when ours finally broke.

#79. New clothes for all of us from a community swap.

#80. The feel of freshly washed bathroom rugs.

#81. Being able to read about other people's journeys to healthy eating.

#82. Another favorite children's book, Barnyard Dance, from the library.

#83. Watching the little ones do the barnyard dance while I read aloud.

#84. A heart that is growing to rejoice in my role as wife and mama.

#85. Grace when I fall.

#86. Strength to begin again.

#87. The promise and hope of spring.

#88. Five years of marriage. Five down, a lifetime to go. :)

Please leave a comment telling us what you are thankful for today.

  2. Oh, we love Barnyard Dance, too! How does one read that and not make all the funny moves, right? And what a praise it is to have your little ones sleeping in, and those unsolicited thank yous never stop being a blessing.
