Our family has been using soap nuts to clean our laundry for almost a year now and we continue to be amazed at how this simple dried shell can so effectively clean all of our messes. Soap nuts are a wonderfully natural way to clean laundry.
Soap nuts grow on trees and do not contain any harmful chemicals or additives. Soap nuts are the dried shells from the soapberry. These shells contain a substance called saponin that produces a soaping effect. Saponin is a 100% natural alternative to chemical laundry detergents. Soap nuts also contain a natural fabric softener.
Read more about them in our previous post here.
