I'm always on the lookout for shops that carry beautiful and unique fabrics. So I was very excited when I came across Amy's shop, The Fabric Bar.

The Fabric Bar is "...a small family owned company whose mission is to bring you the cutest, highest quality and most exclusive Japanese fabric and gifts this wonderful world has to offer. We also carry a small range of designer collections from our favorite domestic manufacturers such as: Alexander Henry, Free Spirit and many more! We also love to support the newer "indie" designers and will be adding several of their collections to our shop towards the end of the year."

I was thrilled when Amy agreed to send me one of her "over one yard" scrap packs to review. These packs are filled with mostly fat eighth sized pieces in a variety of Japanese fabrics and domestic designers. You can also ask Amy to customize your scrap pack by choosing warm or cool tones, girl or boy fabrics, cotton or cotton/linen blends.

I'm always excited when I receive scrap packs because I never know exactly what to expect. Well, I definitely was not disappointed with The Fabric Bar's scrap pack. I had told Amy that I would be using these fabrics for accessories for the kids' room and for baby and children's crafts, so she filled my scrap pack with a variety of cheerful and fun fabrics.

Aside from carrying beautiful fabrics, The Fabric Bar also carries patterned ribbon and trim, DIY kits, patterns, and gifts.
