A Heart For Home: Overheard

Setting the stage: I was sitting on the couch nursing Eliya. Emahry and Jonathan were looking at books on the floor. Emahry began "reading" a Bible story book to Jonathan. This is what I overheard.

Emahry: Jonathan, look! It's baby Jesus. He was born in a stable.
(pointing) There's a donkey and a cow.
Jonathan: grunts (Emahry takes this as a sign that he understands)
Emahry: (pointing) That's Jesus' daddy & mommy.
Jonathan: grunts
Emahry: It's Joseph & Mary Poppins!

Too cute! I have heard Tristan refer to Peter from the Bible as Peter Pan! He came home from church and I asked him what he learned about and he said "Jesus and Peter Pan" They are so funny!
