Baby Bunz & CO.: Cottonclouds Flat Diapers Review & Giveaway

Baby Bunz & Co | Cloth Diapers and Natural Baby Products
Introduction:  Baby Bunz & Co. started in 1982 simply to offer the pure woolen Nikky diaper cover to parents across the United States. They have since expanded to offer clothing toys and a wider range of diapering options.

Selection: Baby Bunz & Co. offers several styles of fitted and prefold cloth diapers. They also carry several options for diaper covers, such as styles from Nikky and Bummis. along with these choices Baby Bunz & Co. carries a wide selection of doublers/liners, accessories, All-in-Ones, Pocket diapers and training pants. You can also purchase cloth diapering samples individually to try out certain styles before buying a larger quantity.

Baby Bunz & Co. also provided Baby Care essentials like skin care, bathtime products, feeding products and safe natural remedies. To offer even more natural living choices to their customers Baby Bunz & Co. also offers organic baby clothes, natural bedding, toys & books, natural mother care and essential baby gear.

Cottonclouds Flat DiapersReview:  We were blessed to receive three unbleached Cottonclouds Flat Diapers from Baby Bunz & Co. to review during the Flats & Handwashing Challenge hosted by Dirty Diaper Laundry.

These "flat" diapers are actually about the size of a standard prefold but are the same thickness throughout. This allows them to be pad folded in either direction and placed into a diaper cover.

These Cottonclouds Flat Diapers consist of two layers. One side is a soft flannel and the other is an absorbent terry. These diapers can be tri-folded either horizontally or vertically for lots of absorbency.

These diapers are extremely soft and fluffy. I wish all of our towels and washcloths felt like these diapers!

We love using these flats pad folded inside of a Thirsties or Bummis cover. We've also found these to be a great nightime solution when tri-folded and stuffed into our AMP pocket diapers.

The Cottonclouds Flat Diapers are 100% cotton and are made in the USA. They are sold in packs of six diapers and come with a choice of two sizes (infant = 12 x 14 and standard = 15 x 18) and the choice of white or unbleached.

Buy It: You can purchase your own six pack of Cottonclouds Flat Diapers for $21.50 for the Infant size or $31.50 for the Standard size.

Win It: Baby Bunz & Co. would like to offer our readers a chance to win 3 Cottonclouds Flat Diapers of your very own. The winner will be able to choose size and color based on availability. Opened to those within the continental US only.

The Flats and Hand Washing Challenge Begins Today!

Our family will officially begin the Flats and Handwashing Challenge organized by Kim at Dirty Diaper Laundry today, although we've been gearing up for the challenge by using our flats almost exclusively while at home.
If you haven't heard of the challenge, here's a little information from a previous post:
This challenge was started to raise awareness of the extremely frugal option of flat diapers. The hand washing aspect is to show that even families who do not own a washer and dryer can successfully cloth diaper their babies for very little upfront cost.

We are participating in this challenge so that we can help spread the word about how inexpensive cloth diapering can be, even for those who do not own a washer and dryer.
Remember, during this challenge we will be reviewing products from our three wondeful sponsors. Each of these sponsors will also be offering items for giveaways so make sure you stop back by and enter for your chance to win!
Our three sponsors for the Flats and Hand Washing Challenge are Baby Belle BottomsSwaddlebees and Baby Bunz & Co. Please, take a few minutes to check out their websites for great cloth diaper and natural living products.

Flats and Handwashing Challenge

Our family is excited about participating the the upcoming Flats and Handwashing Challenge organized by Kim at Dirty Diaper Laundry.

#FlatsChallenge

Kim was very concerned, as we are, about the recent stories of low income families choosing to reuse disposable diapers so they could purchase food for their families. There have been cases where babies have developed dangerous infections due to being left in a disposable diaper too long or being placed in a used disposable diaper.

I also have to admit that I am a little excited about hand washing diapers for a week. Call me weird, but it's bringing out my Laura Ingalls side. (I'm sure that would not be the case if I was attempting to wash all of our laundry for a week, but a bucket of flats and covers each day is much more manageable.)

Tim has already agreed to make me a basic camp style bucket washer to use during this challenge. I'm super excited, though not quite excited enough to attempt washing all of laundry this way.

We are pleased to introduce you to our three sponsors for this event, Baby Belle BottomsSwaddlebees and Baby Bunz & Co.

Baby Belle Bottoms
 Swaddlebees
  Baby Bunz & Co
Each of these great companies will be providing our family with flat diapers in order to participate in this challenge. They will also be offering a giveaway to our readers during the week of the challenge, May 23-30.

We are looking for one more sponsor for this challenge who is willing to send our family a set of flats to use for this challenge and also offer a set to our readers as a giveaway prize. If you are interested please leave a comment or email us.
